I started this photo blog on January 1, 2008 and hope to have 366 pictures on it by December 31, one posted every day. A year of images I thought interesting. Assuming I am successful it should be fun to reflect upon it when completed.

Maple Trees Show Signs of Spring
The native silver maples are always the first trees to bloom and show signs that spring in on the way. These pictures show the buds opening and then in full flower.
I'm an Associate Professor in the Department of Recreation, Sport and Tourism at the University of Illinois Urbana-Chamapaign. I am excited to be teaching an online class this semester.
