I started this photo blog on January 1, 2008 and hope to have 366 pictures on it by December 31, one posted every day. A year of images I thought interesting. Assuming I am successful it should be fun to reflect upon it when completed.

It is really impressive and historically very significant! I'm sure you know that, but it says "Vote for Solidarity." I was two months short of being able to vote in these elections...
I tried to get you the (in)famous Marx/Engels/Lenin poster, but all you can get on the Internet are reproductions... :(
I'm an Associate Professor in the Department of Recreation, Sport and Tourism at the University of Illinois Urbana-Chamapaign. I am excited to be teaching an online class this semester.
