I started this photo blog on January 1, 2008 and hope to have 366 pictures on it by December 31, one posted every day. A year of images I thought interesting. Assuming I am successful it should be fun to reflect upon it when completed.

Year of the Rat
Today is Lunar New Year and recent tradition has been that our Taiwanese and Chinese grad students have invited their advisers out to lunch and this is today's wonderful event. Thank you all.

I'm an Associate Professor in the Department of Recreation, Sport and Tourism at the University of Illinois Urbana-Chamapaign. I am excited to be teaching an online class this semester.
