I started this photo blog on January 1, 2008 and hope to have 366 pictures on it by December 31, one posted every day. A year of images I thought interesting. Assuming I am successful it should be fun to reflect upon it when completed.

Price of gas
I can't imagine how economists can explain this distortion of fuel prices. Regular gas less expensive that ethanol based E85 and now regular approaching a dollar and a half. Are we reaching a bottom?
I'm an Associate Professor in the Department of Recreation, Sport and Tourism at the University of Illinois Urbana-Chamapaign. I am excited to be teaching an online class this semester.
