I started this photo blog on January 1, 2008 and hope to have 366 pictures on it by December 31, one posted every day. A year of images I thought interesting. Assuming I am successful it should be fun to reflect upon it when completed.

Suzdal Russia, Vilage windows
The woodwork around the windows of Russian village homes is often very artistic and well done. These are a sample from Suzdal. Note that there are always some sort of plant in the window.
I'm an Associate Professor in the Department of Recreation, Sport and Tourism at the University of Illinois Urbana-Chamapaign. I am excited to be teaching an online class this semester.
